Alden Nursing Home

QUESTION:

A former employee of a health facility in west suburban Bloomingdale has been charged with rape after he allegedly impregnated a disabled woman there, authorities announced today.
Raynaldo Brucal, 18, of the 1000 block of Knollwood Drive in Schaumburg was arrested Tuesday night after investigators matched his DNA to that of the brain-damaged woman's childa girl who was born in July, DuPage County State's Atty. Joseph Birkett said.
Bond for Brucal was set at $1 million, and he remained in DuPage County Jail, Wheaton. His next court date is Nov. 28.
Police collected swabs of DNA from all male employees of Alden Village Health Facility for Children and Young Adults in June after a
23-year-old female resident of the facilitywho has limited mobility and the mental capacity of a babywas discovered to be 29 weeks pregnant.
Brucal has no previous criminal history in DuPage County. He was on disability leave from Alden Village, where he had worked a "short time" as a nurse's aide, Birkett said.
Meanwhile, the victim's mother has moved her and a disabled twin sister from Alden Village to another facility, is raising the woman's child and is pursuing a civil suit against the nursing home and the doctor who was caring for their daughter.
The suit states the woman was sexually assaulted and physically abused by "agents and employees" of the nursing home between November and December 2004.

ANSWER:

Agreed. Don't you wonder what goes through these idiots' minds when they give DNA samples and then just, well, wait around the neighbourhood? "Duhhh... maybe they won't bother to do the tests..." "Duhhh... maybe they'll make a mistake and it won't match..." "Duhhh... maybe somebody else was having sex with her, too..."
Actually the last one is kind of chilling...
Remember the Canadian doctor who slid ampoules of other peoples' blood under his skin and managed to fake two blood samples taken for DNA testing? He was one smart, sneaky son-of-a-bitch who nearly got away with rape.
