Are there and fabric places I should raid?
QUESTION: I received 3 wonderful birthday squishies -- It was a real uplift -- I have
already used one in a spring door hanging. I'm making a series of door
hangings for one of the ladies at the assisted living where I work. I
'loan' them out so she can identify her room. It is a fun series of
projects to do while she naps. Small projects are satisfying because they
finish so quickly. Instant gratification.
I'm still working like a fiend andl the ladies I care for are both doing
well and healthy after the winter. Now I'm painting the living room -- I
finished the bathroom, but didn't like the shade so I had to do it a second
time. Pink seems to be either too pale or too pink.
Now I'm going to take a week off to bask in the sun the end of the month. I
have an offer to go to Aruba for a week. Are there and fabric places I
should raid? or and quilters to bring a goodie to? I decided that I
couldn't swing the UK trip to the Malvern show this year. I'll try again
next year
Maine is so un spring-like in April, that a sunny escape will be nice.
