QUESTION: For the California Nursing Home Administrators license my Master's from
California Pacific University was completely accepted. I had to complete a
480 hour internship in conjunction with the Master's program. Without the
Master's from Cal. Pacific I would have been required to complete a 1000
hour internship based on my BA from Western Illinois Univ. State approval
works in this area of licensing in California.
ANSWER: Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara is regionally accredited and its PhD
program in clinical psychology has APA accreditation. Fielding's doctorate can
be earned via DL methodology, although, I am sure that some class attendance is
required.
